Thanks to the couple of sunbeams in the morning, 4 Gümmelers were able to decide to take them to Schwägalp. The start took place punctually at 9:00 am with a few drops. The warm-up ran to Hinwil, then the first meters in altitude came towards Bachtel (even for some as a surprise. 😉) The Bachtel was wet at the top, but the descent was dry again. We then drive towards Goldingen and then towards Ricken over a hidden valley. The group splits at the Ricken. 2 drive the planned route and 3 flee the rain. It was unexpectedly dry until Schwägalp. We take a coffee (be careful, you always have to ring the doorbell first, otherwise the landlady will be offended ...) before we leave for Appenzell. In the valley, the weather changes from Mallorca to Holland: Wet and strong against wind, it accompanies us until the end. With these conditions close your eyes and through.
